Suhurusara is excited to introduce a new course, “Fundamentals of Programming Using Python,” designed specifically for beginners who are starting their journey into programming.
Suhurusara already offers a Programming Fundamentals course using Python at the intermediate level. However, many learners who enrolled in that course shared feedback requesting a beginner-friendly course that explains the fundamental concepts of programming before moving into advanced topics.
In response to this valuable learner feedback, Suhurusara has developed this new foundation-level Programming course that uses Python language, delivered in Sinhala, making it easier for beginners to understand programming concepts step-by-step.
The course introduces learners to the core principles of programming and Python, including variables, data types, strings, operators, and data collections such as lists, tuples, sets, and dictionaries. It also covers important programming structures such as conditions, loops, and functions, helping learners develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Learners will also gain hands-on experience with file handling and basic database connectivity, along with quizzes and practical exercises that reinforce learning and build confidence in writing Python programs.
Designed entirely in Sinhala, this course enables beginners to build a strong programming foundation before progressing to more advanced Python topics.
With this new course, Suhurusara continues its mission of making digital skills education accessible and inclusive for learners across Sri Lanka.
