Suhurusara is excited to announce the upcoming launch of its first Tamil-language e-learning course, “Database Management and SQL.” This marks an important step in expanding access to digital education and supporting learners from different language communities across Sri Lanka.
The Database Management and SQL course has already been successfully delivered in Sinhala, receiving positive feedback from learners and trainers nationwide. By introducing the course in Tamil, Suhurusara aims to ensure that Tamil-speaking learners can access the same high-quality learning experience in their preferred language.
Designed as a fully online interactive course, the program guides learners through essential database concepts including database design, relational data models, and the use of Structured Query Language (SQL) to manage and retrieve data. Learners will gain practical experience in creating databases, writing SQL queries, updating and retrieving data, and understanding database normalization.
The course is structured into six learning units, supported by video lessons, quizzes, practical assignments, and a final assessment to help learners build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The course content has been developed by Subject Matter Expert Ms. Uthpalani Kavisekara, while the Tamil-language delivery is supported by Mr. Mohamed Shazeen.
This initiative further strengthens Suhurusara’s commitment to multilingual digital education and equal access to ICT learning opportunities across Sri Lanka.
